  WP12 Control System & User Interface

Objectives
The goal of this workpackage is the design, modeling and implementation of motion control for the capsule, aiming both at the generation of open-loop gaits in the challenging locomotion environment of the GI tract, and at the generation of sensor-driven closed-loop reactive behaviors, necessary in order to endow the capsule with some limited navigational autonomy. The main control goals are efficient locomotion of the pill and the avoidance of damages to the delicate GI tissues. Moreover, this WP will address the development of an easy and intuitive user interface, which will be used to control the capsule.
